Ask me about the story we read, "Have You Filled A Bucket Today?"
It's a story about being a bucket filler. We have a bucket that is used to hold good thoughts, feelings, and actions. A bucket filler is someone who feels happy and good when they fill the bucket. Many friends practiced filling the bucket today for various acts of kindness, for following classroom rules in our Prekindergarten Promise, or for being respectful to peers and adults.
Encourage your child to think about ways to fill the bucket. Ask them, "Did you fill a bucket today?"
