Watched Sesame's Streets "Kids Talk About Holidays". We discussed how even though people celebrate different holidays, the way in which they celebrate these holidays is very similar.
For example, in holidays like Kwanzaa, people give presents, they sing or dance to music, they spend time with family, and they eat a feast!
We watched Sesame Street's "Kwanzaa" and learned that corn is a symbol of Kwanzaa that 'represents the children of the community'.
