Umoja is one of the principles of Kwanzaa that help people to be good. Umoja means "coming together, getting along".
We each added three pieces to our Umoja chain - red, green, and black (those are the colors of Kwanzaa). We each dictated a way we can "get along" with others and Miss Gray wrote it on one of the pieces of the chain. Some ways we can get along with others is by sharing our toys, playing with someone who is playing alone, sitting with someone at our GCS Buddy Bench, sitting with someone at snack, use gentle hands when playing, etc.
