"A" is for Alligator
We sung, "Alligator, alligator, down by the lake. I'm reaching in to see what you ate!". With this, we reached into our alligator's mouth to pull out words that all started with the letter, "A". Some things the alligator ate were acorns, apples, ants, aprons, airplanes, etc.
We enjoyed our music movement, "Way Up High In An Apple Tree", as we counted along and sang!
Ask your child to read it to you at home!
Also, review the links to songs and short videos with your child, to practice the letter "A" identification, formation, and letter-sound. Also, to make an "A" at home, remember: "Big line down, Big line down, Little line across".
