Today, we learned how to write the number, "3",
using Handwriting Without Tears.
We always remember to start our letters, and numbers, at the top!
We know we are at the top of the letter and/or number when we see smiley.
To make the number "3"
1. Put the crayon on smiley

In completing this activity, we are learning to:
-use correct top-to-bottom, left-to-right directionality for numbers
-learn words linked to content being taught
-write numerals up to 10
-hold a crayon with proper grip to write
-use helping hand to stabilize objects and papers
-use same hand consistently to hold crayons
-use fingers to hold crayons
We also completed our "My Number 3 Book".
In our book we had to practice writing the number 3, color in 3 pictures, draw 3 things, and then show 3 in a ten frame.
